Labeled the 'T-Hybrid' powertrain, this setup gives the 911 Carrera GTS a permanently excited synchronous motor designed to supplement the power of the newly developed 3.6-liter boxer engine with up to 110 pound-feet of additional torque. The newly strengthened 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission is integrated. So is a newly developed and electrically driven turbocharger. The electrified powertrain for the Porsche 911 generates 532 combined horsepower and 449 pound-feet of torque.
