This year, Porsche River Oaks was a Hole-in-One Sponsor for the 32nd Annual Rice University WAAB Golf Classic, benefiting women's athletics. Porsche River Oaks – a Proud Hole-in-One Sponsor of Last Month's Rice University WAAB Golf Classic
The 2025 WAAB Golf Classic took place on April 14th at Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland – another community our Porsche center proudly serves. The golf classic put on by the Women's Athletics Advisory Board (WAAB) is a signature annual tournament designed to support and celebrate women's athletics at Rice University. All event proceeds benefited Rice Women's Athletics. This year's tournament featured multiple Hole-in-One contests with exciting prizes provided by event partners, including Porsche River Oaks.
Sponsoring Hole 8 with a Porsche Macan
Hole 8 – featuring a Porsche Macan – was presented by Porsche River Oaks. Each hole-in-one winner received an $80,000 check. The Porsche Macan is one of the stunning new Porsche SUVs on our River Oaks lot and perfectly complemented the course views. Last month's premier golf experience was an ace for Porsche River Oaks.
Event Attendees
Top athletics donors, sponsors, Rice Alumni, WAAB board members, local business leaders, and coaches from Rice women's sports teams gathered for a day of golf, connection, and impact. Lunch and a shotgun start at the signature golf event were followed by dinner, raffle, and awards. Other hole prizes included a luxury vacation package for Lajitas Golf Resort, a premium Swing Caddie golf device, and a $500 Callaway Golf shopping spree.
